Mick Traen

Mick, alias Mr.Traen, a self acclaimed, amazingly humble creative genius, saw the light the first day of springtime in “Venice of the Northerlands”.

He studied Graphic Design and Photography while degustating other disciplines, like fashion, interior design, jewelry, mural painting, sculpture, etc. He earned his bread, heaven and respect around the globe, making advertising. In his spare time he creates wonderful appliances with his bare hands. Writes scripts and poems while the moon and his dogs keep him company.

His first, last and deepest passion lies in movie making. Got his first short “a•men” awarded for best photography and nominated for best director in La Laguna.

You’ll see him at his best playing with actors, characters and atmospheres, bringing them to live in subtle, funny or magic stories. And through his art direction he’s good at hunting down beauty to catch it into mesmerizing pictures.
